The Vanguard School’s National Honor Society chapter held its most recent induction ceremony during the End-of-Year Awards Ceremony on May 27. Congratulations to the chapter’s newest members: Juan Pai (Sophomore/Florida), Alfredo Molina (Senior/Colombia), Yendise Collie (Freshman/Bahamas), Stephanie Dockery (Junior/Florida), Susanna Dugall (Senior/Florida), Nick Wheeler (Junior/Ghana), James Weichel (Freshman/Florida), Spencer Tergliafera (Sophomore/Florida), Lindsay Pierce (Freshman/Idaho), Emily Jensen (Senior/Texas), Max Jones (Sophomore/Bahamas), KJ Major (Sophomore/Bahamas), and Thomas Megna (Senior/Florida).
Students inducted into the National Honor Society are selected on the basis of four criteria: Scholarship (3.5 grade point average or above), Leadership (positive behavior and holds positions of responsibility), Character (citizenship, trustworthiness, caring and responsibility), and Service (volunteering time to others). The new members join the current members of the National Honor Society: Eric Crofut (Junior/Florida), Jay Shah (Junior/Duri), Josh Jude (Junior/New Hampshire), Ramon Torres (Junior/Florida), Janie Alexander (Senior/Alabama), Tyler Cooper (Junior/Bahamas), and Daniel Han (Senior/South Korea).
