We know how important parent involvement is in the success of our students and our school. The Vanguard Family Association was established in the 2015-2016 school year to provide connection and numerous opportunities to contribute to your child’s education. On this webpage, you will find helpful information about The Vanguard School, the latest news, and ways to get involved in our community.




*Special Announcement: Spring Break will be March 18th to the 26th. Travel days are the 17th (departure) and the 27th (return) of March. Please see the School Calendar for more events and information.



What is the procedure for picking up my child?

It is recommended that the parent and/or guardian of the child call beforehand and let the school know of their arrival. Then when the parent and/or guardian is on campus, they will come to the Administration Building. From there, they must see the school secretary during school hours and sign the child out. From there, the school secretary will ensure that the student is taken out of class and brought to the Administration Building.

What are the school's hours?

The school is operational from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Is there financial assistance available?

Yes. There is financial assistance available. For further information, please send all inquires to The Admissions Office by telephone: (863) 676-6091 or by e-mail at: info@vanguardschool.org

You must complete both the TADS Form and the Financial Assistance Form to apply for financial assitance.

Who can check out my child from school?

If a parent, relative, or other person wants to check out a student, they must be on the Authorized Visitors List that is filled out during the admissions process.

What is the daily schedule for students?

Classes begin at 8:30 a.m., lunch is at 12:15 to 12:45 p.m., there is mentoring time at 12:45 p.m. to 1:15 p.m., and classes finish at 4:15 p.m.

How do I get in contact with faculty and staff?

You can find the full list of faculty and staff by clicking Faculty Directory under the Parent Links tab on the right side of this page or by clicking here. This will direct you to the telephone numbers and e-mails of all current employees.

I have forgotten my RenWeb login and/or password! What do I do?

If you have forgotten your password or login information, you can reset it by clicking here. You will be asked for the district code and e-mail. Please have this information at hand.

What about grades and report cards?

All grades and report cards are posted to Renweb. To find out more information on using RenWeb, please click here.

Is there extra academic support for my child?

Yes. At The Vanguard School, we pride ourselves on our small classroom sizes and individualized learning paths. Each child is ensured to get the necessary academic support to better foster their learning. Along with inside the classroom, they also have school mentors to help guide them in whatever they need.


Congratulations, Nicole! Nicole has been selected as a Daughters of the Revolution (DAR) Good Citizen for the current year as she has demonstrated the qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism. She was the runner-up in a very challenging essay contest. Nicole won fifty dollars for her hard work!
