We know how important parent involvement is in the success of our students and our school. The Vanguard Family Association was established in the 2015-2016 school year to provide connection and numerous opportunities to contribute to your child’s education. It is recommended that the parent and/or guardian of the child call beforehand and let the school know of their arrival. Then when the parent and/or guardian is on campus, they will come to the Administration Building. From there, they must see the school secretary during school hours and sign the child out. From there, the school secretary will ensure that the student is taken out of class and brought to the Administration Building.

In order to be considered for financial assistance, new students must complete the admissions process and be offered enrollment. Upon being given an offer of enrollment, the parent/guardian may then apply for financial assistance by completing the online application through FACTS. The Vanguard School has begun a new partnership with FACTS beginning with the 2017-2018 school year, and will no longer be using TADS for its financial aid assessment.
Parents/Guardians of returning students may complete the online FACTS application immediately upon receiving notification via email that applications are being accepted. Applications for financial assistance are normally accepted beginning February 1st for the following school year.
Please note that FACTS does not award financial assistance. All information provided to FACTS is used by The Vanguard School's Financial Assistance Committee in determining financial need.

Yes. At The Vanguard School, we pride ourselves on our small classroom sizes and individualized learning paths. Each child is ensured to get the necessary academic support to better foster their learning. Along with inside the classroom, they also have school mentors to help guide them in whatever they need.
